The great thing about this compilation CD is that it spans the
majority of Clapton's career. We have his solo material, work with
Cream, Derek and the Dominos and Blind Faith. That's what makes this
CD more appealing than any other Clapton Compilation. It's got the
essential Clapton favorites like: "After Midnight", "Cocaine", "I shot
the Sheriff", "Wonderful Tonight" and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door".
From his days with Cream we have: "White Room" and "Sunshine of Your
Love". "From Derek and the Dominos: "Bell Bottom Blues" and "Layla".
Also, from Blind Faith there's: "Presence of the Lord". Clapton's
career involves entirely too many albums to try to collect them all
without having a sampling of his work first to sort of get your feet
wet without having to jump in. This CD would be your Best Bet. |
