"And she's buying the Stairway to Heaven." The moment those words were
heard, this album became an instant classic. This album also contains:
"Black Dog", "When the Levee Breaks", "Going to California", "Rock and
Roll" and "Misty Mountain Hop". Led Zeppelin released a number of
albums that achieved greatness, that's what makes it so difficult to
choose one above the rest. The first four albums, I feel, were their
best. Led Zeppelin (1969) contains "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You", "Your
Time is Gonna Come", "Dazed and Confused" and "Good Times, Bad Times".
Led Zeppelin II (1969) contains "Whole Lotta Love" "Thank You" and
"Living Loving Maid". Led Zeppelin III (1970) contains "Immigrant
Song", "Since I've Been Loving You" and "Tangerine".
Other great
albums are Houses of the Holy (1973) which contains "Over the Hills
and Far Away" and "The Ocean" and Physical Graffiti
(1975), which
contains "Kashmir". I don't think you could go wrong with any Led
Zeppelin CD. I would even recommend the live DVD The Song Remains the
Same, which shows them in their prime. |
