Mel Gibson plays the part of an average everyday Joe who doesn't
really want to get all caught up in this American Revolution thing.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond his control, he not only
gets caught up in it, but takes it to a personal level after his son
is killed by the British. The movie presents the story in a classic
good vs. evil approach that even works within the context American
Revolution. Yes this is yet another Mel Gibson film in this
category. But has he ever really made a bad film? Oh yeah, Mad Max
just came to mind. But I think you'll overlook his Mad Max movies
after having viewed this one. |
